CHALLENGE

To create a system to dry lumber for home construction that was as fast as the large conventional systems. Large wood-fired systems can dry a load of lumber in a day or two, but are inefficient, burning resources and materials that could be used for other applications, and generating undesired emisions.

SOLUTION

Nyle Systems’s engineering division developed the Very High Temperature (VHT) system of dehumidification kilns. These systems dry AS FAST AS conventional wood or gas fired systems while improving quality and reducing emissions, and do it at low operating and low capital cost.

RESULT

Increased margins and reduced emissions for the user. Our Nyle VHT systems can match the speed and quality of large wood-fired boilers, reduce emisions by 70-100%, and use about 50% less energy than a typical wood-fired boiler.
