Because Nyle has thousands of kiln systems installed around the world and extensive experience in drying all kinds of lumber, many customers who have reasons not to choose a dehumidification system decide to buy conventional kiln equipment from Nyle and take advantage of the extensive knowledge and backup support that Nyle offers.  The drying cycle for conventional gas heated kilns is the same as for dehumidification kilns so why not look to the company that is far out in front in kiln drying technology?

Nyle can supply the complete equipment package for a customer built chamber, including coils, fans, vents, doors, controls, spray systems, etc.  Nyle can also provide the chamber for a complete turn-key system.

Nyle Gas Heating  Systems are supplied direct and indirect fired. Direct fired means that the burners shoots the flame right into the air that is circulating through the lumber. It provides a lot of heat for low capital cost. It does require a constant stream of fresh air into the kin so for some applications the control is not as close as many would like.

The coils are supplied in two different grades:  Better and Best.  Both types work equally well but the difference is in how the coils are made and how long they last. The Better coils are copper tubes/aluminum fins with aluminum casing and the whole coil is coated with a special corrosion resistant material, greatly extending the life cycle of the coil.  The Best coils are stainless steel tubes, headers and casing with aluminum fins. These are virtually permanent coils.

Nyle fans use our extended venturi fan housing which optimize fan performance. The motor and propellers can be reversing or non-reversing and are designed to withstand the rugged conditions in a kiln.

Nyle vents are aluminum and seal tight when closed with an insulated and gasketed door. The door is opened and closed by either a stainless steel pneumatic operator or a high performance electric actuator.

The spray or humidification systems are available for conditioning or stress relief. Nyle has systems based on steam, high pressure water (700 psi) and low pressure water (60-100 psi).

Nyle offers loading doors that are rugged, reliable and well insulated. They are custom made to fit the opening, whatever size is needed. Nyle produces double swing doors, lift and roll doors and horizontal bifold doors, dependent on your preferences and needs.  All are built in our Maine plant to assure highest quality
