Heat Pump Water Heater tax credits are available now! Section 25C tax credits provide households a 30 percent tax credit for HPWHs capped at $2,000 a year and reset each tax year.
HEEHRA covers 100 percent of HPWHs costs of up to $1,750 for low-income households. Moderate-income households HEEHRA covers 50 percent of HPWH costs up to $1,750. Unfortunately, HEEHRA won’t be available until late 2023.
